Previously I had it working fine, and did a few movies already. But now its been strange and doesn't play MP4 anymore. Infact, Media Player also won't play MP4 when previously its ok.
 
Has it got to do with problem with Quicktime you think? I installed QT and uninstalled it recently cos it was hanging.

Question:

My laptop turns on but will not resume from hibernation. Nothing appears on the screen.

Answer:

Buy a Macbook. Or, try this:

Take a flashlight and shine it on the screen when you turn your computer on. Do you see anything? If you can, then your laptop works but your backlight is burned out. You?ll need to take it to a computer repair place to get that fixed.
