I've added several .mp3 music files to a collection of photographs,
with transitions between each photo, to create a slide show with
music. The problem is that, although the music is perfectly lined up
and synched in the timeline & preview, when I publish it, either to
the computer, or direct to DVD, there are long gaps between the end of
one track and the beginning of the next.
Do you have any ideas on how I can solve this? I'm using Vista Home Premium and Movie Maker Version 6.0.6000.16386
Thanks very much for your help!

Our reply: Hi,
Try creating a new project, then drag each song into audio portion of
the Timeline and export each song as its own individual "movie".
The thing is, Windows Move Maker will recognize that there's no video
in the movie - only audio. So it'll save the audio as a .WMA file
(Windows Media Audio).
Then open up your project, remove the .MP3 files, and replace them
with the .WMA files (they're the same songs, but a different format).
Then try exporting your movie again.
If this doesn't fix the problem, try exporting the entire movie
without any music, then import the movie you just exported, add in the
music, and export again.
