Secondhand Lions is undoubtedly of the greatest movies of all time, but unfortunately it's one which many people have never even heard of. One of the most well-written movies ever made, the story is humorously farfetched, yet at the same time entirely believable. It has the same level of adventure as Indiana Jones, the same level as humor as Monty Python, the same level of mystery as Sherlock Holmes, and at the same time the movie is extremely heartwarming, with a deeply meaningful story, and nearly every frame looking like a Norman Rockwell painting. Whoever came up with this story is a genius. He has achieved something most screenwriters couldn't even hope to dream of, but he didn't do it by resorting to plot tricks and mind games. He simply told a story about life. This is a movie every human should see at least once.
