A stunning visual thriller with outstanding acting and cinematography, Batman Begins far surpassed the classic Batman movies in capturing the true essence of Batman.? The story of Batman Begins is amazingly well written and developed, chronicling how every major event in Bruce Wayne's life ultimately led to his transformation into the Dark Knight.

The special effects are outstanding, and the fight sequences are epic, but the movie is far more than a flashy shoot-em-up.? Batman Begins takes the comic book hero genre to a whole new level. Although it does feature some science fiction, Batman Begins maintains a far greater sense of realism than other comic hero films such as Superman and Spiderman, because it deals not with seemingly invincible superheroes, but with real people - with strengths, weaknesses, and fears - forced to make difficult decisions that will forever shape their destiny.

Most movies with iconic heroes have reoccurring theme songs with strong melodies, but Batman is not a traditional hero.? The complexity of the story calls for a soundtrack darker and more haunting.? Hans Zimmer accomplishes this with a unique build of rhythms that give the movie an epic feel.??

This is the second greatest movie ever made, second only to its sequel, The Dark Knight.?
