Being a disciple is a moment-by-moment commitment. In Jewish tradition, a disciple would follow his rabbi everywhere. It was considered a great honor to be literally covered in the dust of a rabbi from following him closely on the dirt roads and sitting at his feet as he taught.
Is your walk covering you with the dust of Jesus Christ or the dirt of this world?
To have real Jesus swagger, we must walk as He walked.
It’s a walk of compassion and selflessness. It’s a walk of giving before receiving. It’s a walk of loving enemies and being peacemakers. It’s a walk of being different enough to make a lost world searching for hope stop and take notice.
It’s a walk that will change the world.
The Blueprint for “Go” starts with radical acts of kindness that ignite a desire for Christ in the hearts of those hungry for lifechange.
Every act of kindness – no matter how small – changes the course of history.
Walking with the Lord is a day-by-day, moment-by-moment, little-thing-by-little-thing walk.
Be faithful in your walk. Be unwavering in your walk. Share your walk.
Let your daily walk be a dusty one.
