Smoking Kills

http://www.plasmaproductions.net Smoking kills over 50 people an hour! In this short video, we'll interview an ex-smoker and a medical doctor. Many facts about the dangers of smoking are discussed. Eagle Scout Blake Cortright's created this video and submitted it to the Boy's LIfe Smoking Stinks competition. The contest required that submissions be under 3 minutes and under 30 megabytes. Submissions were judged on how well they communicated the theme of "smoking stinks". Blake's video "Smoking Kills" received enough votes to become a finalist in the Boy's Life "Smoking Stinks" competition. For those of you who voted and commented, Blake wants to extend his thanks to you for your support. Blake filmed the video on his Canon HV20 HD Camcorder. The video was edited in Final Cut Pro 5 on an iMac. The visual effects were edited in Adobe After Effects CS4. With help from fellow scouts, ex-smokers, doctors, and friends, Blake produced the first video of a new year: 2009.
